Albert Cassius Giordino has known Dirk
Pitt since Kindergarten and was his friend
through High School. He played tackle on the High School Football team. Later, he attended the U.S. Air Force Academy, and followed Pitt into flight school. He served two tours in Vietnam, and still holds the rank of Captain in the Air Force. Giordino joined NUMA along with Pitt at the request of Admiral James Sandecker. Home: Alexandria, Virginia Appearance: He is 5'4" in height and weighs 175 Lbs. He is of Italian ancestry, with dark black curly hair and a nose suggestive of his Roman heritage. He has a barrel chest and muscular build and usually wears a grin on his face that appears stuck there. His eyes are twinkling walnut. He is missing the little finger on his right hand after he jammed it in the barrel of a gun fired by Delphi Moran in Pacific Vortex. He has been shot on numerous occasions, and his body also shows the effects of countless abrasions, contusions and broken bones.
